Executing

After made your settings and saved them, you're ready to PROCESS/EXECUTE the bundle.

The execution is simple and fast, and user can cancel it at any time, being able to recover (or not) the task later. This way, it is not necessary to reprocess all files again.

See below the commands:

Click over the PROCESS button.

Choose the EXECUTE tab. There, you have the following commands and information items:

1.COMPRESSION: it defines whether the processed PDF files will be compressed after the SIGN or SECURE procedures. Warning: it will affect the overall performance and, depending of the nature of each file, the compression rate may vary greatly. We recommend use NONE (default).

2.EXECUTION COMMAND: this button will start the execution of the bundle. The execution may be affected by the AUTO-RECOVERY switch:

AUTO-RECOVERY ON: all processing will be performed considering the difference between the SOURCE (the primary for checking) and the OUTPUT folders.

AUTO-RECOVERY OFF: the processing will be performed since the 1st file of the bundle, overwriting any document already created in the destination folder (OUTPUT FOLDER).

IMPORTANT: AUTO-RECOVERY compares each file on SOURCE folder with the corresponding file in OUTPUT folder. This means that you MUST keep the SOURCE folder intact or, at least, with all files yet not processed files. Also, you cannot delete any processed file (OUTPUT folder) leaving its original in SOURCE folder because the program will understand that that this file must be processed. If wished, you can delete any files from both folders to save space and improve overall performance (see TIPS here).

3.CANCEL: this command allows you to cancel the processing at any time. Useful when the total files is greater than the regular work time, requiring that computers be turned off to continue in the next day. Use it together with AUTO-RECOVERY.

4.STATUS AREA: these labels and gauge shows the current performance and information about the spent and forecast time to process the entire bundle of PDF files.

5.WARNINGS: this button functionality is linked to PDF/A processing only. It will be enabled whenever the processing of PDF/A on files has caught some minor problems, like "invisible glyphs" or colors that were converted to a "pure" one (B, R, G or B). Pressing this button, you can review what type of problems had occurred on the PDF/A conversion - it opens the last WARNINGS file located in the \REPORTS sub-folder of PDFBUNDLE.

6.PROBLEMS: this button functionality is linked to PDF/A processing only. It will be enabled whenever the processing of PDF/A on files has caught AN ACTUAL problem during the conversion of a document to PDF/A. Pressing this button, you can review what type of problems had occurred and we strongly advise you to proceed to review this. It opens the last PROBLEMS file located in the \REPORTS sub-folder of PDFBUNDLE.
